-United States Copyright Office:
www.copyright.gov. The United States Copyright Office publications are very good and they cover a number of different issues. Start with their primer on Copyrights and then move on from there. We can also be consulted for anything that you find confusing.
One Caveat: We do not encourage our clients to incorporate new businesses on-line because we have seen too many businesses dissolved because the person doing so did not understand the requirements of the State with regard to their new business. Cutting costs makes sense for all businesses but cutting them with regard to some legal issues may cost you more in the long run. We generally will tell clients where they can save money by doing something themself.
